Getting Here & Around
North Plainfield is about 23 miles from Manhattan and is convenient to Routes 22, 78 and 287. The borough itself does not have an NJ Transit rail station. Nearby Raritan Valley Line options include Plainfield Station, Netherwood Station and Dunellen Station.
Driving note: Route 22 is a divided commercial highway with frequent jughandles, ramps and high traffic volumes. Allow extra time when crossing between eastbound and westbound businesses.

North Plainfield is primarily residential and commercial rather than a hotel center. Visitors generally find a broader hotel selection in nearby communities along the I-78/I-287 corridors.
